As a long-standing strategic partner of Commonwealth Bank, More Telecom has welcomed the next evolution of CommBank Yello which introduces a new points-based rewards program designed to give eligible customers more ways to earn value from the products and essential services they use every day.

From 1 October 2026, new and existing More Telecom customers, who are eligible for CommBank Yello, will be able to earn 2 CommBank Yello points per $1 spent on their More bill (exclusions and eligibility criteria apply).1

Eligible CommBank Yello customers will be able to earn CommBank Yello Points through a range of participating partner offers with points redeemable across travel, shopping, gift cards and other rewards. The enhanced program represents an evolution in customer loyalty, bringing together banking, telecommunications and everyday services through a more connected, customer-centric, rewards experience.

Eligible CommBank customers can continue to access significant savings on More products including, $25 per month off new nbn® plans,2 and $10 per month off new mobile plans for 36 months.3 This could see eligible customers save up to $900 over 36 months on nbn® plans and $360 on mobile plans over 36 months when they continue to pay for their services using an eligible CommBank payment method. From October, eligible CommBank Yello customers who purchase select plans will be able to earn CommBank Yello points which can, in turn, be spent on travel, shopping, gift cards and other products.

More Telecom CEO Andrew Branson said customer expectations were changing and loyalty programs needed to evolve to keep pace.

"Customers increasingly expect more value from the products and services they use every day The future of loyalty is about creating connected experiences that reward customers across different parts of their lives, rather than relying solely on one-off discounts or promotions.

"Connectivity remains a household essential. Australians rely on connectivity whether they’re working, studying, streaming or staying connected with family and friends. Rewarding customers for a service that has become essential to modern life is a natural next step in the evolution of loyalty programs. This launch reflects a broader trend towards loyalty programs that extend beyond traditional discounts, enabling customers to earn and redeem awards across a range of products and services through a single program. Branson said the initiative highlights the growing role technology collaborations play in creating meaningful value for customers.

"The telecommunications sector has traditionally competed on price, speed and network performance. While those factors remain critical, customers are increasingly looking for services that fit seamlessly into the broader digital experiences they use every day. We're excited to be part of a program that recognises the role connectivity plays in modern life and provides eligible customers with additional opportunities to earn rewards."
