Will my existing equipment work with an FTTP connection?

To get the most out of high-speed plans with an FTTP connection, we recommend using a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 router. You can choose to use your own router (BYO)*, however, you may need to update your settings before getting started.

You can visit our BYO setup guides or contact our Technical Support team on 13 66 73.

Important: If your Wi-Fi router is more than 3 years old or doesn’t support Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi7, we recommend upgrading your router and cables to help you get the most out of your fibre connection. Alternatively, we offer pre-configured compatible Wi-Fi 7 routers here.

Note: If your service is PPPoE, you can enter any username and password when configuring your router. If your service is IPoE, select IPoE or DHCP, as no login details are required.

*We cannot guarantee that all BYO equipment will work on our service, however our team will do their best to help you get your existing equipment working if it’s compatible.
