Telecommunications provider More today announced the signing of a new contract with Vocus, which will see the companies' longstanding wholesale partnership extended to ten years in total.

More is one of Australia's most successful and longest running nbnTM providers with sister retail business, Tangerine.

To illustrate the scale of recent growth for More and Tangerine, the two telcos recently passed the 100,000 NBN Services-In-Operation (SIOs) milestone, enabled by Vocus' suite of wholesale products and services.

The business recently unveiled its strategic partnership with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), seeing the bank take a minority shareholding with plans to integrate More's nbnTM and mobile offers to a potential 11 million customers via the Commbank app.

Vocus provides a breadth of wholesale services to More and Tangerine, including voice, data networks and nbnTM services, built on the foundation of Vocus' extensive national and international fibre infrastructure.

Co-Founder of More, Andrew Branson, said the Vocus deal positions the busines soundly to deliver CBA customers with compelling offers ready to be launched soon.

"This further commitment with Vocus is built on a successful longstanding relationship which has been the backbone of our growth," said Branson.

"Both More and Tangerine have seen a huge increase in customer numbers over the past 24 months. It's not showing any signs of slowing down and we are extremely positive about the outlook for both businesses.

"It's an exciting time and with multiple product improvements being rolled out, we're continuously evolving our customer offering," he said.

Vocus CEO Kevin Russell said the contract was a milestone for both companies. "This extension of our longstanding partnership with More solidifies Vocus' leading position in the wholesale market, and as a trusted partner to two of the best challenger brands in More and Tangerine."

"More's strategic partnership with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia will open up a range of new growth opportunities, which Vocus' high-capacity fibre backbone network providing a solid foundation for More and Tangerine to address the residential, business and wholesale markets nation-wide," Mr Russell said.
